I had issue 5 of Xenex the Bug Man at the recent Dallas Comic Con for sale. I completely sold out at the convention. So, if you didn't get your copy don't fret, issue 5 has been uploaded to indyplanet.com for purchase! It's good so go, get your issues now! I posted some post Dallas Comic Con goodness and pictures on my Sweet Little Art site. You can see the posting here. I know that it is still months away, but just to let you know way ahead of time, I got a table for the Dallas Comic Con: Fan Days Convention in October. If you were unable to make it to this last Dallas Comic Con, this next big show would be good to go to.
I have posted some new shirt designs in my Cafepress store. Head over to my Cafepress store and get a shirt or a couple!
Just to let you know all know, I am taking commissions for Xenex the Bug Man characters. If you would like to commission me for original artwork, head over to the commissions tab in store to see how.
If you want to see more work from the creator of Xenex the Bug Man, Taylor Lymbery, then check out his site!
From the amount of action that Xenex has seen in these last couple of issues, Xenex's clothes should be ripped to shreds. Sometimes, I remember to draw his beat up clothing, and sometimes I, well... kind of forget. So, by now, Xenex should be in dire need of a new uniform. Back in 2001-2002, when I first started building his design, I never really thought through what influences the world around our heroes would have. I always pictured him in his long jacket and striped shirt. I never thought to deviate from that costume get up till now. The uniform that Xenex is pictured in would be a standard issue uniform for an army. Oh, wait! I've said to much! I should have warned you of that minor spoiler alert! Sorry. To keep with the original Xenex clothing theme, I added back in the striped shirt that is visible on his arms, his communicator on his chest, his utility belt, and his boots which will be the same as his old ones. I was not sure if the new clothes would work or not when I first started the new design, but I really do think that this fits in nicely to the galaxy that is expanding for Xenex and all of the characters of the Bug Man comic!
I did have several requests for Xenex the Bug Man issue 1 at the convention. I should have issue 5 ready for the next con, so I will put in an order for issue 1 to have a few there at the convention.
If you don't want to wait for it till May, you can go ahead and get them printed from the indyplanet site! Go to my comic store tab to see the listings of comics that I have available.

Taylor just posted the Sci-Fi expo wrap-up for 2013 on his art site! He and Jeff from Marvindog Media had a blast while they were there. A big thanks go to everyone who stopped by the booth! You can see some of the commissions he did here on his site!
